Gincosan’s Unique Formulation
Gincosan’s formulation is specifically clinically proven, meaning that it is the exact product has been used in clinical trials. This is very important for natural products as there can be great variance between products, even if they appear to use the same active ingredients, due to the type and part of the plant that is used, growing, harvesting and production conditions & methods. The outcomes of clinical studies for natural products can thus only apply to the exact product that has been tested.
As a specifically clinically proven product with exceptionally high quality standards, Gincosan offers reliable effectiveness and safety.
Gincosan is contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to Panax ginseng or Ginkgo biloba and any of the inactive ingredients in the product. Gincosan capsules contain lactose and glucose and are not recommended for those who are lactose intolerant or have the rare hereditary condition of galactose intolerance. Gincosan is not recommended for children under 12 years of age.
Panax ginseng may reduce the effect of warfarin (or other coumarin anticoagulants). There may be an interaction between Ginkgo biloba and anticoagulants and antiplatelet drugs (blood thinners) and using Ginkgo biloba before surgical or dental procedures should be a matter of clinical judgement for your healthcare professional.
Patients with bleeding disorders or taking blood thinning medications should consult their healthcare professional before starting Gincosan.
Clinical effects from overdose have so far not been observed with either Gincosan’s Ginkgo bilobaor with the Panax ginseng specific extracts.
In rare cases, gastrointestinal reactions (such as nausea, stomach pain and diarrhoea), headache and allergic skin reactions have been reported.
